Lily is the Schumacher Center’s Operations and Public Programming Associate. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Lily moved to the Berkshires with her family four years ago. She has since worked for Berkshire Art Center, local family and women-run fermented food business Hosta Hill, and the Berkshire farming community.
Lily received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College, where she concentrated in visual art and social ecology—the study of how individuals interact with and respond to the environment around them, and how these interactions affect society and the environment as a whole. She is excited to be working at the Schumacher Center, helping to strengthen the local food system and economy in the Berkshires.
