Additional Information: Rather than buying the land underneath a house in order to lower the initial purchase price for a new buyer, City of Lakes CLT takes over the deed to the land belonging to an existing homeowner at risk of losing the property in return for taking care of outstanding tax liens, mortgage payments, and deferred maintenance.

Purpose: Leverage public and private funding for the development of affordable housing by member CLT organizations.

Land Holdings: 330 homes, over 200 have been resold in the past 25 years.
Additional Information: Formed by the merger of Northern Communities Land Trust and Neighborhood Housing Services.

Purpose: Maintain permanently affordable housing to combat gentrification.
Land Holdings: They purchased their first North Minneapolis commercial property in December 2021. They are currently purchasing a four-property bundle.

Purpose: Neighborhood stabilization, affordable housing.
Land Holdings: Four duplexes (three owned, one rented); two live-work units; 9,300 sq. feet of affordable commercial space with a coffee shop, Minnesota's only black-owned printing press (Black Ink), a psych office, and an incoming restaurant; Collaborates on 33 senior housing units.
Additional Information: They have served nearly 90 families with their single family home ownership programs. Most of these families identify as BIPOC.
