The Here to Stay Community Land Trust retains low- to moderate-income households across Hermosa, Avondale, Logan Square and Humboldt Park through affordable homeownership and communal ownership of the land.
Transitioning to a tripartite board now and will elect homeowner members to the board in 2026.

Here to Stay was formed in 2019 and grew out of a community plan. Our vision is to interrupt the patterns of displacement and gentrification in our neighborhoods by providing a mechanism for the community to own land and compete with cash buyers to create affordable homeownership for legacy families.
Four founding member organizations: Palenque LSNA, Center for Changing Lives, Spanish Coalition for Housing and LUCHA.
