DownTheMarsh Community Land Trust

DownTheMarsh CLT is an early-stage, rural, Afrocentric community land trust in Truro, Nova Scotia. DTM CLT began when one of its founders, Lynn Jones, was looking for ways to transfer ownership of her land to the community, in a way that would ensure community control and long-term benefits for its inhabitants. She landed on the CLT model, and alongside fellow leaders in Truro, established DTM CLT.
