Richard J. Cantele, Jr. is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Salisbury Bank. He has been a director of the Bank since 2005. Prior to becoming President and Chief Executive Officer in 2009, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer since 2005. Mr. Cantele has been an executive officer of the Bank since 1989, serving as Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Operating Officer. He became a director of Sharon Hospital in 2017 and President of the Sharon Hospital Board in January of 2020. Mr. Cantele graduated from Fairfield University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, and graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking in 1997.
