Hannah Martin is a program associate at the Schumacher Center for a New Economics. She contributes to various operational tasks relating to the Center and the Community Land Trust program. She first started at the Schumacher Center in 2019 as a Local Currency intern. In that role, she researched local currencies around the world, and rebuilt the Local Currency Directory.
Hannah is a student at Vassar College, where she will receive a B.A. in Science, Technology, and Society, with a minor in Religion. At Vassar, her studies focus on technological change, the social dynamics of scientific controversies, and the ways in which communities create meaning. She is also an active member of Vassar’s varsity cross country and track teams.
